The core members of Absolutely Fabulous Fireworks started out as enthusiasts doing stuff that kids love to do…apologies to all animal lovers!

Back in the late 1980's we all found the choice of fireworks to be limited and of poor quality, then again what more could we expect from ill-informed newsagents selling discounted fireworks, wholesale fireworks or buying fireworks from the back of a lorry! We soon learnt the industry to be boring, unimaginative and expensive, i.e. one puff of smoke (regardless of type of firework) and that's your lot. You were always left wanting and as a result we decided in are own way to re-address the balance.

Absolutely Fabulous Fireworks was first formed 17 years ago but the core team have in excess of 48 years cumulative experience in the fireworks industry. We were one of the first companies to market Black Cat fireworks as we saw these ‘”cakes” as the way forward in terms of value for money, quality and excitement. In addition, we were also one of the first companies to show our customers our range of fireworks on “video” (today its DVD) in our retail showroom. We firmly believed then and still do the importance of allowing customers to view fireworks before buying them.

Today, we manufacture, retail, mail order and professionally fire our own exclusive Peacock range which we believe to be world class. In addition to this we were one of the first companies to introduce the Brothers Range which in 2007 was voted "Firework Brand of the Year" and "Firework of the Year- Hercules".

Being in the firework industry is a passion of ours. Manufacturing quality fireworks and firing “gob-smacking” displays is what we enjoy most. But the real enjoyment is seeing the faces of people after our shows and receiving pictures and testimonials from happy customers who really can't thank us enough. We're just grateful at having the opportunity to play a part in all their special events. What makes us stand out is that, we don't care if you spend £500 or £200,000 - you will always receive the same level of personal service from us.
